Lisa is a compassionate and dedicated medical doctor, driven by her commitment to helping others. Ansgar is an entrepreneur with a strong background in engineering, specializing in chemical and pharmaceutical plant construction. Together, we live in Stuttgart, Germany, where we balance our professional lives with the adventure of raising our two wonderful children.

Our journey with this property began when we first visited Zakynthos and discovered its unparalleled charm. The breathtaking sea views, the serene atmosphere, and the unique design possibilities captivated us from the start. We envisioned this project as a place where architecture and nature harmoniously coexist, creating a home that offers both tranquility and inspiration.

However, as life has its seasons, we’ve decided to take a step back from this project to focus on our growing family. This decision comes with mixed emotions—on one hand, it’s hard to part with something we’ve poured so much love and vision into. On the other, we are incredibly excited to pass this dream on to someone who will make it their own and continue its story.

Lucy Lago, an award-winning architect and the founder and principal of LUCY LAGO's architectural studio, specializes in creating multi-faceted, experiential designs across residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces.
At the heart of Lago’s design philosophy lies a multi-layered and stimulating sensory experience. By exploring the interplay of materiality, color, forms, and an intuitive juxtaposition of cultures—architectural and organic, graphic and instinctual—she seamlessly curates a rich tapestry of experiences in every project. Her work celebrates the unique history, location, and architecture of each space while boldly challenging conventions and pushing creative boundaries.
